Earlier this month, engineer PUBG Corporation announced that next season it will focus on Paramo, a mysterious plain hidden above clouds. The battle map was said to be unlike any other game to date, with a ever-changing structure changing from one game to another. PUBG Season 9 was announced to be shorter than ever before, but PUBG Corporation has promised that this will not harm the quality of the season.

PUBG provides a comprehensive list of everything players can expect in the 9.1 update. Lots of detail is provided on the Paramo map, especially about what separates it. The 3x3, 64-player map will have no red areas and the blue areas will be slightly lower than other maps. Compensation, players caught outside the blue area will be more injured than usual.

Motorcycles will be the only used car in Paramo map, while helicopters will be used to put players on the map at the beginning of the game or as a drop in supply throughout the game. There is also a specific Secret Room Key this season that has been looted, but its purpose has not been explained by the developer.

Along with the Paramo map, players will receive a new Ranked Mode intended to be the only friendly player. Those who buy past the season will be able to access what is known as Survivor Pass: Highlands, which contains special shipping and rewards but only lasts two months. The G-coin system, PUBG currency, has officially become the only acceptable payment method on all platforms where the game is available. As with any patch for any game, general maintenance issues are also under review.

The release of Season 9 promises to be an attractive change for PUBG. While shorter than previous times, the developer PUBG Corporation seems to have provided enough content to make you profitable. Patch 9.1 is the end of the first release of this season where 9.2 will be released later. That update, too, will feature new content, but will focus more on the story and learning with special attention to the popular PUBG character.

While some may think that PUBG Corporation is priced by releasing different season passes for each review, it would be nice if the passing of the second season has different content as before. Only time will tell, however, and in the meantime, players can adjust to new changes and additions in Player Unknown's Battlegrounds.
